The author’s life …

January 20, 2017

“We are tired,” says my staff.  No one wants to work overnight.  The house manager will sleep on the sofa.  I will go to early to bed and get up at six.  The manager will go home to sleep for a few hours and I will work.  The local news media ignores my books again. That’s an author’s life.  I feel like a failure.  That’s life.   A sister emailed me to say that the book is awesome.  That means everything to me.  My lazy attendants wants free books.  All they do is sit, complain, and talk on their cell phones.  They are good people but they have no idea what I have to do now. Yesterday I started a new book. It’s an author’s life.
