Universal Healthcare

September 30, 2013

The United States needs universal health care for thirty-million uninsured Americans many of whom are disabled.  Universal health care would drive health care costs down and eliminate waiting lists for specialized equipment like electric wheelchairs.  But Republicans will protect the insurance companies keeping the disabled disenfranchised.  People with some money don’t want to share it with the uninsured!  The insurance companies have too much money and power over the Republican Congress.  The Republicans are going to shut down the government to keep the insurance companies happy. If some insurance companies can giving money to Republicans for reelection and build beautiful golf courses, then these profitable companies can afford to insure people with preexisting health care conditions at no charge.  Greed only hurts people who don’t have much say in the world.
