It’s Valentine’s Day. I’ve never had a girlfriend, but I have my “sisters.” I CAN tell my three female classmate friends anything.
Men need women more than women need men. Without women men wouldn’t know what do with themselves. Amber, Christine and Jessie mean the world to me. I lost my real sister. She has “disowned” us saying that my mother and I don’t care about her. My care worker of two years has quit seeking a new life in Tennessee for her daughters and unborn child. I have been without the Internet for three weeks. Mom didn’t know what to do. I needed a new router. Mom doesn’t like to ask for help. She is getting more forgetful. I’m scared. But I can hear my “sisters” say, “It’ll be okay, Steve. Keep your chin up.”
Happy Valentine’s Day, Sisters. I love you.
